Fabric Care Guide for Organic Sateen Sheets
Here’s how you should care for your organic cotton sateen sheets to maximize their longevity and maintain that smooth, silky finish
1. Washing
- Use cold or lukewarm water.
- Choose gentle/delicate cycle.
- Use mild liquid detergent.
- Avoid overloading the washer.
- Turn pillowcases/duvets inside out.
2. Stain Treatment
- Treat stains immediately.
- Use non-bleach stain remover.
- Pre-soak in cool water + detergent.
- Use vinegar for residue & odor.
- Baking soda boosts detergent.
3. Drying
- Tumble dry on low heat.
- Use wool dryer balls.
- Line dry in shade if possible.
- Remove slightly damp to reduce wrinkles.
4. Ironing
- Iron while slightly damp.
- Use medium/warm setting.
- Iron on reverse side.
5. Avoid Fabric Softeners
- Softener coats fibers, reduces breathability.
- Use wool dryer balls instead.
